Shanghai Research Institute of Building Sciences Group Ltd., (SRIBS) is a state-controlled listed group, established in 1958. As a leading technology service provider for urban construction, management and operation, SRIBS holds business lines of engineering consulting, TIC, planning, architectural design, engineering survey, etc. in the fields of construction project, urban operation, manufacturing industry and environment.
SRIBS is among the top facilitators of engineering supervision, engineering testing, building safety assessment, green building consulting and environmental consulting. In the last decades, SRIBS hhas been devoting to a number of remarkable projects in China and overseas, including Shanghai Tower, China Expo Exhibition Center, Universal Park Beijing, Haifa Port Israel.
SRIBS also serves as government think tank. With state-leveled public credit service platforms, such as State Pre-fabrication Building Base, State Enterprise R&D Cetner, National Center for Quality Inspection& Test of Building Engineering Materials, SRIBS assists different government sectors in policy research and industry survey.
